With the surge of reusable, environmentally friendly products and conservationist lifestyles, vegan and vegetarian diets are becoming all the rage. Restaurants are now feeling the pressure to add these options to their menus, and a variety of entirely plant-based eateries have entered the scene!  Here are some ways to get your veggie on in the DC area.

HipCityVeg

Starting with fresh ingredients delivered to their store every morning, HipCityVeg allows you to eat healthy, while still enjoying burgers, fries, and shakes. Using ingredients like tempeh, portabella, and chick’n, you can dig into some nuggets or a buffalo burger all while getting a yummy helping of veggies! HipCityVeg is also all about composting, recycling, and keeping their space sustainable, so you can feel good about eating out!
