Do you find yourself hopping around the same handful of happy hour spots in DC? If the answer is yes, then it’s time to broaden your horizons with these five happy hour spots on U street and 14th street. Whether you want a cocktail, an ice-cold beer, some savory appetizers or all of the above; your taste buds will be satisfied. 

 

Sudhouse DC 

1340 U St. NW, DC

Begin and end your week on a happy note with Sudhouse’s extensive half-priced food and drink menu. Whether you’ve had a Monday of mayhem or are you’re just trying to get through hump day, this classic American spot is the perfect place to start. Begin with their variety of drink selections like $3 beers, $4 rail shots or $5 rail drinks and then finish off the happiest of hours with some $4 tater tots or maybe even a hearty pork slider trio. The options are endless. 

 

#FrayLifeTip: Sudhouse has happy hour all day Monday, 4-8 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 2-6 p.m. on weekends.
