Fireworks are an Independence Day essential that the DMV can’t get enough of. From Annapolis Harbor to iconic Fairfax County, join in a number of fireworks extravaganzas that are sure to highlight your 4th with a bang. It’s outdoor fun for the entire family. 2022 Bladensburg Fireworks
Join the town of Bladensburg at the Bladensburg Waterfront Park on July 1 for an incredible fireworks display. This free family event will feature live performances from Coco J and the Washington Commanders Entertainment Team along with other perks such as food trucks, amusements, face-painting and more. Vienna’s Independence Day Celebration and Fireworks
Celebrate America’s Independence Day and Vienna’s second annual Liberty Amendments Month with their wonderful gift of live music, kids’ entertainment, games and fun for the whole family. Food and drink will be available from Ben & Jerry’s, Colonial Kettle Corn and the Vienna Little League concession stand. Laurel 4th of July Celebration
Get ready for a wonderful fireworks display in the heart of Laurel, a Maryland town ready to have some spectacular fireworks fun. Make your way over to beautiful Laurel Lake and see some amazing colors light up the DMV sky. Free. 9:15 p.m. Laurel Lake: 8385 Cherry Ln. Laurel, MD; laurel4th.org 

SummerFest Fireworks at Bohrer Park
Tout your American Pride with friends & family at SummerFest, Gaithersburg’s illuminating summer festival on the expansive grounds of Bohrer Park at Summit Hall Farm. This free event takes place on July 2 from 6 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. and features live music, food trucks, local breweries and family-friendly activities all leading up to a spectacular fireworks display at 9:25 p.m. and a SummerGlo After Party. Independence Weekend & Fireworks with the Bowie Baysox
Catch the Bowie Baysox square off against the Richmond Flying Squirrels in an Independence Day Weekend series. And after the matches, stick around the stadium for amazing fireworks displays sponsored by Royal Farms and Johns Hopkins Community Physicians. 4th of July Sunset Sail and Firework Viewing Party
Celebrate America’s Birthday by enjoying a leisurely sail along the Potomac River. Providence is the only 1700s sailing vessel in Washington D.C. and a stellar reproduction of the first warship authorized by the Continental Congress. During the sail, you will learn about the history of the ship, help set the sails and watch the fireworks light up the sky from The Wharf during a champagne toast. Annapolis 4th of July Weekend Celebration
The City of Annapolis welcomes back residents and visitors for their annual Fourth of July Parade and Fireworks extravaganza! Annapolis launches its fireworks from a barge in Annapolis Harbor and invites you to witness the excitement when they soar into the sky. Boom With A View: July 4th Fireworks Show
JBC Events is proud to host a rooftop fireworks party at the Hotel Washington’s Vue Rooftop for the best views of the July 4th Fireworks overlooking the National Mall. Get yourself over to Leesburg and celebrate America’s big day at Ida Lee Park. Enjoy great music, amazing food, awe-inspiring fireworks and more. The National Park Service Presents Fireworks at The National Mall
As part of the birthday festivities, the National Park Service and partners will host a spectacular Independence Day fireworks show in the heart of the nation’s capital. 2022 Fairfax Fireworks & Evening Show
Fairfax is your next stop for spectacular fireworks after the 4th. Featuring live music and family-friendly amenities, join the NoVA community in celebrating amazing fireworks and keeping the Independence Day spirit alive on the 5th.
