May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, and this year, the District is chock full of events to celebrate. This month, catch live music and dance performances, artist talks, pop-up markets and a range of festivals, and — of course — grab a bite to eat.

Centennial Asian Pacific American Heritage Month Festival at National Museum of Asian Art
Over two weeks, you can celebrate 100 years of the National Museum of Asian Art’s dedication to highlighting AAPI artists.
