Astrology Forecast: September 2023

September 5, 2023 @ 12:00pm | Alice Hu

This monthly astrology column will provide insights into your career and overall wellbeing.

September has that back-to-school, let’s-get-focused vibes. You can thank Virgo for that drive to get organized.

But this year, most of it will be spent in a bit of a haze as Mercury retrograde (August 23 – September 15) is in the sign of Virgo. Retrogrades are an opportunity to reflect and rethink. During this time, it’s normal to have issues with communication, technology and travel. I’ve lost a few phones and laptops to Mercury Retrograde.

You have an opportunity to reflect on your communication, the ways you organize your life and software/resources to help you with your daily work, routines and wellness. During Mercury retrograde, we will learn lessons within these themes. When the new moon in Virgo comes around on September 14, you’ll have more clarity. The mental haze will dissipate.

Read below for journal prompts for your new moon in Virgo. This is the perfect time to set new intentions, goals and wishes to manifest in six months time with the full moon in Virgo.

Traditionally, you can read for both your sun and rising. I prefer rising. As in if your rising sign (ASC) is Cancer, read for that. I like to also read for my moon sign when I need extra insights into how I need to self-care and connect with my inner child.

Don’t know your placements? Visit www.yoursaturn.com to understand your them with your free career astrology report and then come back and read your astrology message.

Aries

You want to change everything. What routines can you add to your mornings and evenings to make more intentional time for yourself? What wellness goals do you have?

Taurus

You’ve been feeling the creative pull. How have you redefined creativity? What brings your true joy? How can you have more fun?

Gemini

Things inside your sanctuary are changing. What feels like home to you? What new systems do you need in the home for it to feel organized?

Cancer

You’re discovering an even more authentic voice. What changes do you want to make when it comes to how you talk to yourself? Do you have any new intentions around writing, influencing, learning, and/or mindset?

Leo

Money lessons have been everywhere. What is your relationship like with money? How do you define wealth and abundance? What money manifestations do you want to welcome in?

Virgo

It seems like there’s been a spotlight on you the last few weeks. It’s shown you what you want to change. How can you release perfectionism? What new version of yourself are you ready to up-level to?

Libra

You’ve been exploring spirituality and the divine feminine and finding more flow/creativity. What does spirituality mean to you? What is filling up your daydreams? What support do you need in your healing journey?

Scorpio

You’re being called to rethink and set new goals for the collective. What communities matter the most to you? Where do you think you can make the most impact? How can things be better? In what ways can you dream bigger?

Sagittarius

Big shifts have been happening internally that affect your professional life. How do you want to be known in your career? What professional goals do you have for yourself that you’d like to manifest in six months?

Capricorn

You’ve been thinking maybe there is a different way of working. How are you redefining work and your purpose? What subject areas do you want to dive into so that in six months you come out with more knowledge and expertise?

Aquarius

Healing has been on focus whether from you or the Universe. What parts of you feel like they are off limits? How can you embrace these parts of you? What can you do in the next six months to allow yourself to feel more empowered?

Pisces

You’ve been wondering how you can invest more intentionally into your relationships. How can you be more consistent with your most important relationships? In what ways can your closest relationships help you achieve a healthier lifestyle?

(Astrology enthusiasts, this message is based off the New Moon in Virgo on September 14. This changes from month to month based on what I feel will be the most impactful to share.)
