Step into the heartbeat of America’s 250th with The Washington Tattoo America 250 Experience, a once-in-a-generation live performance in the nation’s capital that celebrates service, heritage, and unity. Expect the thunder of drums, the lift of massed pipes and drums, and unforgettable performances from military and cultural ensembles in a show that harnesses the power of music to tell the story of America.
In three performances between July 17–18, 2026, at Lisner Auditorium, this unique experience presents a cast of more than 200 military musicians and international artists from the U.S. and around the world to celebrate the 250th birthday of America. Performers include the Grammy award-winning Black Eagle Singers, The Washington Tattoo Massed Highland Fling, The Washington Tattoo Massed Pipes and Drums, Washington Scottish Pipe Band, The Doughboy Foundation American Expeditionary Forces Headquarters Band, OzScot Highland Dance, Fling Together Collective, Sergeant Major (Retired) Christal Rheams, and performing groups from the U.S. military.
