AFI Silver Theatre and the Cultural Office of the Embassy of Spain in Washington, D.C. are proud to co-present ¡Spanish Cinema Now!: an annual festival of outstanding new films that reflect the breadth of styles and talents at work in Spain today.

Join in on a film series that showcases Spanish greats like Penelope Cruz, Javier Bardem and Antonio Banderas.

This feature in the AFI series is “Espíritu Sagrado.” A dark comedy rooted in absurdity, this film follows a small town conspiracy theorist as he looks for his lost niece and uncovers secrets even he didn’t anticipate.
