AFI Silver Theatre and the Cultural Office of the Embassy of Spain in Washington, D.C. are proud to co-present ¡Spanish Cinema Now!: an annual festival of outstanding new films that reflect the breadth of styles and talents at work in Spain today.

Join in on a film series that showcases Spanish greats like Penelope Cruz, Javier Bardem and Antonio Banderas.

Next in this series is “Cerdita” (translates to “Piggy”), a film that follows a plus-sized teen as she witnesses her bullies kidnapped and decides whether to help her tormentors or leave them as is.
