About This Event

SEED SPOT is hosting a Road to Open Call event! Road to Open Call is an in-person opportunity to pitch to Walmart buyers on May 13th in Baltimore. This could be the chance to showcase your brand, receive live feedback, and potentially secure a spot at the 2025 Open Call at Walmart’s headquarters.

 

What to Expect:
Selected entrepreneurs will participate in up to two virtual prep workshops on April 21st and/or May 2nd, with accompanying mentorship hosted by SEED SPOT.
On May 13th, selected entrepreneurs will be assigned a 30-minute meeting with Walmart buyers to pitch their product and engage in a conversation.
Participants will receive in-person feedback and mentorship from Walmart representatives.
Walmart will select several brands to receive a fast-pass invite to pitch live at its 2025 Open Call event in Bentonville, AR.

 

More about Walmart’s Annual Open Call:
Who Should Apply? This opportunity is for brands that:
-Have a product that is made, grown, or assembled in the United States.
-Have previous retail and online sales experience and are looking to expand into national retail, including mass-market retailers like Walmart.
-Have a shelf-ready product across any Walmart product category, complete with approved packaging and UPCs.
-Have strong marketing and social media strategies.
-Are eager to refine their pitch and retail strategy with expert guidance.
