(Classroom A) Coffee and crosswords – refuel with coffee and snacks while you try your hand at a Planet Word themed crossword and other word nerd games
(Classroom B) arts and crafts for kids – our younger visitors can make their own Corduroy the bear puppet, or for a our very youngest friends, try to pin the button on Corduroy. Visitors of all ages can get creative with Scrabble tiles and make necklaces and bracelets.
(Courtyard) wish Planet Word a happy birthday – do you know how to write “Happy Birthday in a language other than English? Sign our giant birthday card to wish our museum many happy multilingual returns
(welcome desk) drop a token in gumball/word machine to get a corny joke about birthdays!

Globe raising – Planet Word staff gives a lightning talk about the design of the globe in Spoken World and demonstrates the globe’s amazing capabilities.
