Art All Night returns to Van Ness Main Street on Friday, September 23rd, 2022!

Van Ness Main Street’s Art All Night 2022 will be an evening filled with local music, dance, film, art and community all along Connecticut Ave in Van Ness, Forest Hills and Wakefield. Free. Outdoors. Metro accessible.

The 2022 Art All Night Festival is funded by the DC Commission on Arts and Humanities and is made possible by the DC Department of Small and Local Business Development. Our VNMS host sponsors are the University of the District of Columbia, Calvert Woodley Fine Wines and Spirits, Superlative Events, Argus Events and Bread Furst. Special thanks to I’m Eddie Cano and the Italian Bar for sponsoring our AAN Social Media contest.

Here’s our initial performance schedule (subject to change) All times are PM.

6:00 – 7:30 – Politics and Prose: John Gallagher, mini comic demos for Max Meow books. Outside at 5015 Conn Ave.

6:00 – 8:00 – The UDC JAZZAlive Trio featuring Allyn Johnson performs at Flavor Garden. Outside at 4400 Conn Ave.

6:00 -8:00 – Rosemary’s Bistro: Levine Music Trio. 5010 Conn Ave.

6:00 -10:00 – Pop Up Art Gallery: Burke School Art Department. Inside at 4340 Conn Ave.

6:00 -11:00 – AAN Pop-Up Market: 36+ artists, craftspeople and iconic DC small businesses. Outside at 4340 Conn Ave. Find the vendor list with links at https://AANPopUp.eventbrite.com

6:00 -11:00 – Interactive Mural Painting for all ages. 4340 Conn Ave (alleyway)

6:00 -11:00 – DC Pedicabs. 4465 to 5015 and 5010 to 4340 Conn Ave.

7:00 -8:00 – The Opera-tizers perform at 4465 Conn Ave (rotunda) outside of Sfoglina.

7:00 – 9:00 – Mariachi Sol de America outside at Muchas Gracias. 5029 Conn. Ave.

8:00 – 8:30 – Singing Capital Chorus. Outside at 4465 Conn Ave (Park Van Ness rotunda).

8:00 – 9:00 – Uptown Market. DC Flamenco. 4465 Conn Ave.

8:00 – 10:00 – I’m Eddie Cano hosts the Levine Music Trio. Outside at 5014 Conn Ave.

8:00 – 10:00 – Movie Night in the Park with the film Encanto. Outside at the UDC Amphitheater. Tickets: https://AANEncanto.eventbrite.com

8:30 – 9:00 – Fire Dancers in the parking lot at Calvert Woodley. 4339 Conn Ave.

9:00 – 11:00 – General Macarthur and the Boulevards perform at the Park Van Ness rotunda. Outside at 4465 Conn Ave.
