June 11, 2019 @ 12:00am | Briana Florez

The United States women’s soccer team brought home the World Cup Trophy four years ago, and they’re ready to do it all over again!

If the US wins the title this year, it will become the second country ever to win two consecutive Women’s World Cup championships.

Excitement for the Women’s World Cup in America is at an all-time high, which means there are plenty of viewing parties to look forward to. Keep reading to find out where you can go to cheer on these talented ladies!

National Harbor Match Screenings

Kick back at National Harbor on the waterfront and watch all of the games on their large, 32-foot screen. Enjoy special skill clinics, food and drink specials, and beautiful views and weather during the games!

Montgomery Parks Watch Party

Watch Team USA go up against Chile during the second match of the tournament on June 16 at 12 pm, at the Wheaton Sports Pavilion. The match will be shown on a giant, inflatable screen. Make sure to bring plenty of snacks and a blanket to lounge on.

#FrayLifeTip: Stick around after the game and get autographs from members of the Washington Spirit!

Franklin Hall Watch Party

This American beer hall is the perfect place to watch our ladies play, and will open early for all matches. But the coolest part is, they will serve beers from more than 7 breweries that are owned by women. Girls Pint Out, a national craft beer organization for women, and the Pink Boots Society will host a watch party for the United States v. Thailand game today at the bar.

Inca Social Watch Party

After work, take the metro to the Dunn Loring station and head to Inca Social which is located steps from the metro. They will host a viewing party for the US v. Thailand game and have craft beers, plus delicious Peruvian food for your enjoyment!

Fairmont Washington D.C. Georgetown Watch Party

If you’re all about soccer and food from around the world, the Fairmont watch party for the US game today is the place to be. The hotel will show a rerun of the game at 5 p.m., and the pre-game festivities will begin at 4:30 p.m. Your first drink is free! Executive chef Jordi Gallardo will cook up dishes from several countries like America, Brazil, England, France, Germany, and Spain.

#FrayLifeTip: Show your team spirit with face paint and gear. Special prizes will be given to the most spirited fan. Score big during happy hour with soccer-themed cocktails, and compete at foosball for prizes!

Show us what viewing parties you’re at during the World Cup using #Fraylife on social!
