Fridays are for Free Local Music at Fort Totten

Every Friday through August 25 at The Modern at Art Place Fort Totten is hosting free concerts featuring a different local band each week. In tandem with DC Fray, the series provides an opportunity to unwind after a long week, listen to local talent and connect with the community. On July 9, David Thong Band took the stage outdoors to perform a medley of blended genres including pop, rock, reggae, hip-hop and indie. In addition to the concert, families that gathered for the show, could grab a cupcake and play lawn games. Photos by Marlo Thomas.
