Tomorrow, A Reflection on Hope and Resilience
945 G St NW, Washington, DC 20001
Live at 10th & G!
About This Event
This a new one-hour-long multimedia experience and is the first live performance of Damien Geter’s “Cantata for a More Hopeful Tomorrow,” joined by native Washingtonian cellist Élise Sharp of the world-renowned DC based String Queens, and Grammy award-winning soprano Nicole Joseph. The live performance is performed alongside the short film of the same title produced in 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the impact it had on the BIPOC community. World-renowned projections designer Camilla Tassi projects it on the walls around the space alongside additional art by Polish-born multimedia artist Piotr Szyhalski’s powerful art exhibit ‘Staying Alive To Life!’
