In honor of a French presidency in the European Union, D.C.’s French Embassy is holding a film series to showcase the best of their nation’s cinema.

This week, the embassy will be screening L’Auberge Espagnole, a film that highlights the wonderful differences within European culture and how they all meld together in a beautiful way.

The film will be in French with English subtitles and will afterwards have a panel discussion to go over certain takes and moments of notes within this classic film.
