Presented by the DC Jazz Festival, it’s the DCJazzPrix Finals, featuring Julieta Eugenio Trio, The Jalen Baker Quartet and Akua Allrich & The Tribe. Don’t miss the international jazz band competition this year. Audience response will be a factor in the jury’s determination of the winner — so you can help crown the best band. Aside from gaining significant exposure, the winning band will begin a yearlong association with the DC Jazz Festival to include: a $15,000 grand prize, customized business development and career impact services, extensive publicity training, and a highly visible 2022 DC JazzFest engagement with commensurate compensation.
