Every month, beginning June 15th, the team at Baker’s Daughter (Eaton Hotel and Ivy City locations) will host a Sandwich competition featuring members of the press and influencers’ sammie creations! First up- Washingtonian’s Anna Spiegel (The Notorious BLT, $10, made with Espelette Aioli, Applewood Smoked Bacon, Bibb Lettuce, Marinated Heirloom Tomatoes on Toasted Sourdough w/ an option to add on a fried egg $2) will go head to head with Eater DC’s Tierney Plumb (The Summer Tierkey, $10, made with Herb Aioli, Smoked Turkey, Salami, Provolone Piccante, Pickled Slaw, Marinated Tomatoes on Toasted Ciabatta) in a grudge match (Spiegel beat Plumb in a similar competition a few years back).
