Culture House presents a monumental mural in the Avant Garden featuring selections from the Viral Art Project. In the first days of the Coronavirus Pandemic, hundreds of creative people from around the world created posters for the Viral Art Project, a call to action for graphic designers, artists, professionals, students, and others to bring their talents to the Coronavirus emergency facing our world. Based in DC, the Viral Art Project invited designers to submit poster art that raised awareness of the challenges facing all of us, and promoted messages about what we have to do and how we can get through this time together. Artists included world-famous designers, children working on printer paper, and everybody in between. On view through July 25th, this installation offers visitors a space to contemplate the past year of life during the pandemic through the work of people doing their best to move our communities to come together and look after one another.
