French tenor Benjamin Alunni and pianist Fernando Palomeque will present their new concert A Musical Salon on November 4th, which aims to celebrate the French-American friendship throughout the XXth Century until our days.
A Musical Salon
Performing pieces by Ravel, Debussy, Nadia and Lili Boulanger, Samuel Barber, Leonard Berstein, Amy Beach and a world premiere by Hannah Lash, among others, they will make the audience discover different aspects of the reach and vast cultural exchanges between France and the United States (music, literature, aesthetic…).
This project was created in collaboration with Vincent Giroud, professor of comparative literature (Bard College, Yale, Johns Hopkins…) and former curator of Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library Yale University.
This tour is a coproduction between Association Ensemble Écoute and Chant de Linos.
