Restaurants are now feeling the pressure to add these options to their menus, and a variety of entirely plant-based eateries have entered the scene! Here are some ways to get your veggie on in the DC area.
Starting with fresh ingredients delivered to their store every morning, HipCityVeg allows you to eat healthy, while still enjoying burgers, fries, and shakes. Using ingredients like tempeh, portabella, and chick’n, you can dig into some nuggets or a buffalo burger all while getting a yummy helping of veggies! HipCityVeg is also all about composting, recycling, and keeping their space sustainable, so you can feel good about eating out!
Whether you’re a new vegan or a seasoned vegan – or not a vegan at all! – NuVegan Cafe has options for you. Their goal is to redefine how veganism is viewed and make it easier for everyone to try it. If you’re in the mood for a little comfort food, Fare Well is the place for you. As a bakery, diner, and bar, you can find anything you want, especially your yummy vegan eats.
