Making her Anthem debut, Caroline Polachek performed at a sold-out crowd on Friday, May 19. The artist hit the year off with a bang with her new album “Desire, I Want to Turn Into You” quickly becoming critically acclaimed. While Polachek has been a mainstay for indie fans since the early 2000s, collaborating with Charli XCX and opening for Dua Lipa’s arena tour last year propelled her to mainstream notoriety.

During the concert, Polachek brought out all the stops, including her harrowing vocals when performing her latest hit, “Welcome to My Island.” The show’s openers pulled their own with Ethel Cain and True Blue setting an electric tone for the show. Kimchi Photography.
