Bediz Group Brings Talent + Trust to D.C. Homebuyers

The Bediz Group helps residents of the DMV area and Delaware buy and sell their homes with trust and confidence.

In 2014, David Bediz founded the Bediz Group, a team of eight full-time real estate agents with Keller Williams Capital Properties, who have helped thousands of people buy and sell their homes in the DMV area and Delaware.

The firm has its office in Dupont Circle and specializes in first-time home buyers and mover-uppers.

“We sell around $100 million a year,” says Bediz, who has been in the real estate game since 2004. “We specialize in residential, but we do commercial as well.”

The Bediz Group also has a property management arm and a lending arm, so it covers all the bases for any buyer and landlord looking to do business in the D.C. Metro region.

“I’m really aware of the needs of the property management owner; how to stay profitable and know the laws,” Bediz says.

Over his career, Bediz has been featured on HGTV shows “House Hunters,” “Designed 2 Sell” and “Get it Sold,” and more recently, PBS’ “If You Lived Here.” He’s also on the board of Greater Capital Area Association of REALTORS (GCAAR) and the D.C. Association of REALTORS (DCAR).

Despite his vast experience and knowhow, Bediz began his career as a web designer in 2000 in a small shop near the White House. He bought a condo around that time, and realized that he was making more money with the increased value of his property than he was at his job, so decided to look into real estate as an additional form of income.

He got his real estate license, and within his first two months, helped two friends with their real estate dreams and realized this was his calling.

“I really enjoy helping other people experience the same success in real estate that I’ve seen,” Bediz says. “Not just for buyers and sellers, but the agents themselves, too.”

Being an agent gave him a lot of freedom and a job he loves.

“It’s been a really exciting 20 years,” he says. “Forming this team has been my pride and joy. We have a really well-run operation and have the resources to take care of a client’s needs at every stage of the process. Clients are never left in a lurch or feel like they are on their own. It’s always a guided and friendly service.”

As a result of this top-of-the-line service, the Bediz Group has become one of the highest-grossing teams in D.C., constantly in the Top 10 of firms of its size. Last year, it was listed as seventh in sales volume and sixth in total units sold, according to the Real Trends Report.

The Bediz Group is also heavily involved in the community through events and charitable events. For instance, in December, the firm was involved in the annual Pub Crawlin for Tots, which raises money for the Tarik S. Pierce Foundation; and every year it brings holiday cheer to low-income seniors in Alexandria, providing them with a goodie bag full of food and essentials.

The success of the Bediz Group comes down to the team, which Bediz praises as being tops in the area.

“I’m constantly impressed with the ways that my team members are going above and beyond the standards that I set to ensure they are giving great service and an additional layer of care, creativity and problem solving,” he says. “We give the client the best possible experience.”
