On Saturday, February 4^th beginning at 11:30 am, shoppers at Salt & Sundry’s Union Market location will be able to partake in a sparkling wine pop-up tasting from Sparkle-ist, a sparkling wine subscription service launched by D.C. resident Lieven DeGeyndt. DeGeyndt will pour French and Italian (not prosecco) varietals from Sparkle-ist’s past and upcoming monthly boxes, which include three hand-selected sparkling wines and champagnes with specialized tasting notes. A non-alcoholic option by French Bloom, awarded World’s Best Alcohol-free at the 2022 World Sparkling wine awards, will also be poured that day.

Shoppers searching for Valentine’s Day gifts will be able to sign up to receive 20% off the first month’s subscription if they join while in the store. During the event, DeGeyndt will also take entries for a Sparkle-ist giveaway, where shoppers can enter their email address for two chances to win a bottle of champagne.
