About This Event

This Sept. 25, Rosslyn Reads will be back on Central Place Plaza with exciting programming and fun for all! The Rosslyn BID is partnering with Turning the Page to bring over 10,000 gently used items, including books, CD’s, DVDs and vinyl records, all priced between $2 and $6. This annual event is here to help you stock your shelves while also supporting D.C. based nonprofit organization, Carpe Librum, and the communities it serves.

With a full day of fun programs, plan on a kid-friendly morning, with giveaways from the Arlington Public Libraries Book Truck, including library swag, event flyers, free books, etc.) and get signed up for a library card! Plus, look forward to a craft station and activities for all ages – the theme for crafts will be banned books, to kick off Banned Books Week (Sept. 26 – Oct. 2). There will also be a performance of The Miraculous Magical Balloon by Synetic Theater, beginning at 11 a.m.

The grownups can look forward to performances by live bands throughout the day, Pakos Takos Grill food truck, and an onsite beer and wine bar (brought to you by Open Road)! And while you’re here, stop by and support one of Rosslyn’s restaurants. You can find a list of local dining options from our regularly updated directory.

Note that registration is encouraged but not required. Signup via Eventbrite below to receive a reminder email leading up to the event!
