About This Event

Love is in the Air at The Capital Wheel during the month of February and it’s the perfect spot for a date, celebrating galantines, or hanging out with friends.

Guests can treat themselves to a delicious meal at one of the many restaurants in National Harbor before heading over to The Capital Wheel to top off their fun by enjoying breathtaking views of the region while snuggled inside a toasty warm climate-controlled gondola.

On Saturday and Sunday guests can get cozy around the fire pits to relax, enjoy the view and sip from favorite beverages at Flight Deck!

The Capital Wheel is giving away a Love in Lights package valued $1,500 for a romantic proposal. The lucky couple who wins will be able to invite 10 of their closest friends to see a special lighting program made just for them, cocktail party at Flight Deck’s VIP lounge, professional photographer, champagne toasts and more. Contestants can enter at The Capital Wheel’s website from February 1 – 14, with winner announced February 20.

There are a variety of special weekend date night packages for guests to enjoy on Saturday and Sunday during operation hours at Flight Deck:
