About this event
Join D.C.’s creative communities for the outdoor art party you’ve been waiting for.
Gather in the Hirshhorn’s outdoor Sculpture Garden for a night of art and fashion, this year in celebration of pop art and generations of boundary-pushing artists. Enjoy imaginative performances, art activations, an outdoor dancefloor, and an open bar with creative cocktails and light bites.
DRESS THE PART
Walk the red carpet in your creative pop art-inspired getup for the chance to win the fashion contest. See terms and conditions.
REUNITE WITH US
The evening will honor artist KAWS (@kaws) and will be hosted by Pussy Noir.
DANCE WITH DC
Come together with moonlit dancing and a performance by musician and composer Dan Deacon (@dandeacon), known for turning live concerts into highly communal experiences. Watch Deacon transform NPR’s offices into a dance floor.

Described as “a new kind of D.C. party” by The Washington Post, the annual Hirshhorn Ball is a one-of-a-kind themed fundraiser held each spring that invites creative communities and supporters of the national museum of modern and contemporary art to celebrate art and fashion through creative costume.
