Renowned local and international muralists will return to NoMa for the seventh annual D.C. Walls Festival! This year’s festival is shaping up to be one of the largest, with 20 murals creating approximately 10 new large scale public works of art. There will be free mural tours and an opening celebration at Alethia Tanner Park on September 9 from 3-10 p.m. with a local maker’s market and music, built around the theme of “glow.” The festival itself lasts from September 7-17.
