About This Event

Cathedral Commons is hosting its 4th annual signature holiday celebration with a community tree lighting, holiday festival and special promotions for one night only, on December 3, 2021 from 6-8 pm. The tree lighting ceremony will begin at 6:30 pm and will include a special performance from The Salvation Army Sherman Avenue Youth Choir.

“We are excited to host the holiday festival and tree lighting again this year,” said Blanton Smith of Bozzuto Development Company. “The event is a meaningful time for us to gather as a community and celebrate the holiday season together, especially since we were unable to hold the event in 2020.”

Cathedral Commons has partnered with Capital Bop on a special performance from Sam Prather and the G.O. 4tet. The concert will feature soulful and lively holiday music with a Washington DC sound.

Additionally, attendees can enjoy free photos with Santa. Families, children, dogs and cats are welcomed. Pet photos with Santa are sponsored by Loyal Companion.
