“Class – The Carla Perlo Story” is a performance and documentary film about the impact on Carla Perlo’s teaching of Modern Dance over the course of 41 years at Dance Place. The documentary will serve as the backdrop for a new choreographic work where students past and present will be invited to create and perform the work with movement derived from Saturday mornings classes as well as their own improvisations.
