About This Event

Each year, SOME’s Young Professionals Network hosts its highly-anticipated cocktail reception. This year, join us for our rebranded event as we bring together the top mixologists from local distillers, bars, and restaurants to compete for the coveted titles of “Best Cocktail” and “Best Spirit Free Cocktail” in the District! We are also excited to move to our new home at the Capital Turnaround for the cocktail event of the year on June 2nd.

We are thrilled to invite the region’s emerging professionals and philanthropists for a fun-filled night of networking, entertainment, dancing, and of course innovative and delicious drinks from local partners in the region. The event features local celebrity judges and a fan favorite vote, as well as a silent auction showcasing items from DC’s promising, young business owners. Together, we will join together for an evening of great fun while supporting SOME’s mission-critical work in the community.

Your Ticket Includes:
– Delightful cocktails & spirit free cocktails from the region’s best bars and restaurants, each competing to earn your vote
– Delicious bites & snacks from across the DC restaurant scene
– Live entertainment, a top-notch deejay, music, a walk across the runway, photo booth moments and so much more
– A silent auction highlighting young business owners in the DMV region, as well as a 50/50 raffle and special door prizes
– Mingling & networking with over 750 of the region’s rising philanthropists and community leaders
– An evening in support of SOME (So Others Might Eat)

All funds raised support SOME’s work to fight hunger and poverty. Since 1970, SOME has been a care provider and a beacon of hope to residents in our nation’s capital. Our services are available to individuals, families, senior citizens, veterans and those affected by physical or mental illness. Every day, we are working to break the cycle of poverty and homelessness through our comprehensive approach.
