Fetch Tiger tells curiously indie anecdotes, with ‘much melancholia’. A duo that originally formed in London in 2020, Fetch Tiger has operated as a cross-Atlantic band since May 2021 when Montali relocated to Brooklyn, quickly carving out a place in its vibrant indie music scene. Featuring a cast of complex characters and situations, their music tiptoes along the blurred indie lines of rock and pop, entangled in an always evolving cinema-style sonic landscape. They released their EP Preparation to Pretend in February 2022, with their debut album anticipated for next year.
Modern Nomad is the recording project of multi-instrumentalist and songwriter, Tom McLean. McLean started writing and recording his own music in 2014 after becoming inspired by the jangly psychedelic pop sounds of The Beatles, and deep atmospheric grooves of the likes of Tame Impala and Toro Y Moi. His 2015 debut release, Road Trip, generated some buzz with the press. POND Magazine stated Modern Nomad “Flirts with brilliance”. McLean immediately started working on his second album and decided to branch out and work with artist and songwriter Avid Dancer. Modern Nomad’s second album, A Trip to Magic Hotel, was described as “ an eclectic mix of beats and sounds and a stellar new release for Modern Nomad” by PURE NOWHERE. Modern Nomad’s first breakthrough single, “All I’ve Got” has amassed millions of streams. His latest album, There It Is, There You Are, was released in 2021 and was described by Sam Sessa (WTMD) as “Deliciously smooth and effortlessly cool, “There It Is, There You Are” sees Modern Nomad bringing together vintage flourishes with contemporary production, all while carrying on the Baltimore music scene’s storied DIY ethos.
The Infinite Daisy Chains
From meeting at a rehearsal in a dimly lit garage to tying the knot five years later in marriage, Ian Dandridge and Kristina Westernik-Dandridge set off to spread a much-needed message of hope. Inspired by their honeymoon experience in the Californian desert, they decided to combine their love for creating and performing music, forming what they now refer to as ‘The Infinite Daisy Chains’. They are both well established and trained musicians who have been creating music for years in the DC Metropolitan area. Kristina specializes in the violin, vocals, and Ableton push, whilst Ian is the guitarist of the duo. The Infinite Daisy Chains built momentum with their latest EP, Between You and Me which the duo self-produced, wrote, recorded in their bedroom studio and released in late 2021. Collectively, they want nothing more than for their reverb-drenched productions to serve as a salute to the music that brought the two of them together.
