Washington DC’s Saturday Night Bike Club is hosting their 2nd annual Amazing Race Scavenger Hunt. This scavenger hunt is designed to help connect the community with local Black owned businesses in the city. The scavenger hunt also incorporates locally important landmarks and sites, often overlooked by typical tours and tour guides. The participants compete for prizes and the local businesses love the opportunity to engage with the rides as they stop in their businesses during the rides. Oftentimes the business owners offer giveaways and coupons to the participants. This is designed to be a conduit to facilitate interaction between residents and businesses of the district.
