Before becoming a rootsy singer/songwriter, Paul Thorn was a prizefighter and skydiver. However, as the son of a Pentecostal preacher, music was always in his blood. After retiring from boxing, he turned to music—his lifelong passion. “Thorn is a natural-born Southern storyteller with humble stage banter and musical delivery that’s gritty and gruff” (NPR).
