About this event

Queer-fronted indie-pop band Lotion Princess plays with local folk staples, You + Me + You and Cecil and Delilah. Celebrate pride this June by supporting queer musicians!

LOTION PRINCESS
Washington, DC
https://lotionprincess.bandcamp.com/
Indie-pop band Lotion Princess is Sasha Snoad, Tommy Sherrod and Andrew Grossman. The group emerged from the 2016 DIY music scene in Washington, D.C. with a hypotonic and expansive sound called “an aural form of a cathartic walk in the woods” by DCist. In their 2019 debut EP, “Take Care,” Sasha Snoad developed her identity as a songwriter, drawing on personal experiences of heartbreak in the deeply emotional record.

YOU AND ME AND YOU
Washington, DC
https://www.facebook.com/youplusmeplusyou/
You and Me and You is a Washington D.C. based harmony-laden sweater-wearing folk-rock group wrapped in the warmth of nostalgia and the tides of friendship. They released their debut EP, “Living Room” in April of 2021. While it was predominantly written in their living rooms – to many listeners’ surprise – the EP was recorded in their dear friend’s bedroom. In harmony they stated, “we like cozy spaces and the occasional throw pillow.

CECIL & DELILAH
Washington, DC
https://www.instagram.com/cecil.and.delilah/
Cecil & Delilah are four friends making harmony laden folk-rock and dreaming of eco-socialism. Trumpet blasts and shouts disrupt quiet melodies as band members gulp for air and cry out for hope.
